Toyobaru (2022+) Vent Panel

For those 2nd-generation Toyobaru owners who were looking for a customizable switch panel, I've decided to go with something slightly more exotic this time around! This Vent Panel installs into the driver's side vent and provides for three auxiliary switches while still allowing air to pass around the perimeter. See the INSTALLATION GUIDE for an understanding of what is involved for installation (it isn't complicated). Choose from red, blue, amber, green, or white for each of your switch LED colors, select between momentary and latching switch styles, and customize the icon and text for each switch (along with the header at the top). You can use this panel to control anything that makes use of a simple switch, from Driving Lights, to Fog Lights, to Air Compressors, to Active exhaust, to Subwoofers, to Air Horns, to Underglow, to... anything else you want to control power to! Due to the complexity of this product, I've created THIS ORDER FORM which you must complete once you've submitted your order. I will then email you a proof of the faceplate for your approval before creating your panel.

Note: Switch panels are made-to-order, and may take up to six weeks to ship.

The switch panel chassis is 3D printed in black ASA in two halves. The black, anodized aluminum faceplate is cut on a CNC, and then engraved with a Fiber Laser, complete with laser-engraved text. The push-button switches are SPST, ON/OFF style (latching or momentary based on your selection), and are rated for 12V/5A. The switches have an LED-illuminated ring, each in the color of your choosing (red, blue, amber, green, or white.) The switch icons are also laser-engraved.

The switch panel will arrive FULLY assembled.

Each of your three switches can be labeled with the text of your choosing, as well as a custom icon. You can also customize the text at the top of the panel if you so desire. Due to the complexity of this switch panel, once you have placed your order, you MUST complete THIS ORDER FORM in order to submit your customization requests. I will not be able to process your order until this is done.

It is up to the end user to determine wiring for the panel, as each use case is different. It is very easy to run wires along the dash, as there is plenty of space to do so. Installation of the panel itself is simple and can be accomplished in under an hour (minus the actual wiring.) I have created THIS GUIDE to walk you through the installation process.

Three wire harnesses are included with this panel. Each switch has its own harness. Wiring is going to be different for each person depending on what they are wiring, and how they are doing it, so that is left up to you to do. Each switch has 5 terminals: NC, NO, C, LED(+), LED(-). You can use these terminals (or the wire leads coming out of the harness, if you choose to use them) to configure the switches to operate in different ways. You don't always use ALL 5 leads). For example, the LEDs can be on ALL the time, or only when the switch is activated. A guide is included with your order to help you in this regard.

This seems like a simple part, and it more-or-less is, but there are a lot of steps involved in making and assembling it. These take time to ship simply because this is a side project I do in my spare time, and my free time is limited, what with work, and autocross, and having a life and all that! The reality is they will probably ship sooner, but I don’t like to over-promise on how quickly folks will receive it. You will receive a tracking number when I ship though!
Obviously, if the product arrives damaged in any way, I will provide a replacement as quickly as possible.

In rare instances, I've had customers receive a panel with a defective switch (I do some basic testing of the switches beforehand, but nevertheless a handful have still wound up in customers' hands.) In that case, I can mail you out a replacement switch, and walk you through the process to swap out the defective switch.

If you mistakenly order the wrong product, I will work with you to resolve the issue, but there may be an additional charge, as each one of these panels is a custom order tailored to your specifications.
